To cultivate practices that root us in Christ and his mission, shaping us into people who extend God’s grace, mercy and welcome to all.

VISION

We will be a body of believers that finds our unity in the risen Christ, our head, who leads us in the redemption of all creation.

• We believe the church is given its unity through our mutual welcome by God in Christ; we bear witness to this through the regular celebration of the Lord’s Supper Table, where we together profess Jesus and his saving sacrifice.

• We believe a healthy church will consist of people who take different stances on a wide array of cultural and political issues, and that we come closer to the truth as we listen to one another in good faith. Unity will be our witness to Christ among an increasingly polarized society.

• We believe that personal commitment to spiritual practices, like prayer and reading the bible, are crucial for shaping us into the likeness of Jesus – who shows grace, mercy and welcome to all people.
